"I wanted to share my experience with Planet Spark, an English language coaching class, in the hope that it will help others avoid falling into similar traps.
I enrolled my child in the course On 10th jan- 23,
they said any time before 5 classes I can withdraw from it and the money will be refunded within 7 -10 days without any deductions, So agreed but I didn’t accepted their confirmation msg.Hence
before the very first class/session I informed them about my change of decision and
cancellation of my child’s participation due to the high fee which may unaffordable to me in due course.They agreed and said will process refund/close loan. But on 03 feb2023 deducted money from my account.
When I contacted the money lender they replied by mail that they have not received the cancellation request as yet from the merchant( Planet Spark).
even after following up with them for two months through numerous emails and phone calls, and even resorting to posting about my issue on social media,
I was only able to recover the principal amount of the course fee and not the interest charges and check bounce charges. This resulted in a loss of almost Rs. 5000 for me. It was a frustrating experience, and I urge everyone to be cautious while dealing with such companies."
