Playing It my Way : My Autobiography is one of the best books that I ever read. Have You read this book yet ? I read this book in english. Every descriptions, every details , every movements whether its funny or painful you can enjoy it properly. Im not exaggerating anything. Every word used in this book is simple no hard words used in this book.
From the beginning to the end, every up and down situations, evey struggles of God of Cricket, can be fully enjoyable.
Sachin reveled himself that he was naughty in his childhood but he only scared to his elder brother.
Most important words in this book is Success has no shortcut. In the beginning he used to play for Sharadshram Vidyamandir. In 1989 he made his debut against Pakistan, in Sialkot test he stuck by a bouncer in nose, he was bleeding though had decided to continue his game. No one can be God of Cricket unless he is Sachin Tendulkar. No one ever forget his first test century against England in Old Trafford also his 114 against Australia in Perths bouncy pitch. In 1998 he played two fabulous innings against Australia in Sharjah. In the 1999 world cup, before the match against Zimbabwe he lost his father though he made a century in this match.
In 2003 World Cup he was the man of the tournament. In this year during the tour of Australia he failed several occasions to made big runs but in Sydney test in made 241 runs in which he did not play any Single Cover drive.
In 2010 he made 200* in ODI against South Africa.
In 2011 India won the World Cup and it was his last World Cup. In 2012 in made his 100th international century & in Nov 2013 he took his retirement from all formats.
Playing it my way not just a book its a lesson to all young cricketers all over the world. How he struggled, how he suffered from injuries everything you can find into it. Once in 1997-98 he suffered a injury and thought that he may not be able to play cricket for India. In 2006/2007 once he decided to retirement but if he took retirement we wont be able to see double century from him also 100th International century. I know some people hate him but I must say every Indians should read this book.
