Loco for Pogo

My boyfriend is a victim of the online game EverQuest. For those of you that don’t know what that game is, you’re lucky. It’s a sure fire way to cause divorce, separation, or in some cases a swift kick in the butarsky from your wife or significant other. But that’s neither here nor there... I knew he was addicted when I met him, so I can’t complain. Well, actually I can... and DO quite often... which is why it vexes me terribly that I have taken such a liking to Pogo.com. This website is utterly amazing.

There are games for everyone, practically every age. It’s totally free, and you can chat with those playing with you. I’ve made several friends already. The biggest surprise to me, however, was the fact that they actually give you points for playing. These points can be cashed in for tickets in drawings daily, weekly and monthly for cash prizes in the amounts of $50, $100 and $250. Also, some of the games have a ’’Jackpot Spinner’’ that you get to spin if you score high enough. The game I play currently has a jackpot of approx $1500. Tell me THAT’S not an incentive to keep playing! Because if your luck is anything like mine, the minute you leave, some cheesedork is going to log in and take that jackpot that was meant for you.

That brings me back to my current predicament. My beloved sweetie and I are forced to vie for time for the computer. We both have an annoying addiction... and only one computer. However, I can make money with mine. :)
