After a Long Break it was a nice come back by vijay with Pokkiri. This Movie Pokkiri is a remake of telegu block buster with the same name. It was a nice pongal release for vijay fans. The story moves like a Hero(Vijay) who will do anything for money happen to join a big criminal gang and fights against other gangster and kills them. His love tracks with Asin moves in a seperate track. Finally the Movie ends with the Expected twist.
The comedy track was lead by vadivelu. Though certain scenes makes people laugh he fails in the end. Asin comes as an Aerobic instructor( only for name sake ) and takes the full time job of roaming around the hero. Nepolean who has been projected as a commisioner has not been used to much extent and fails to shine in the movie. Prakashraj who appears after interval has done his job neatly and provides some entertainment for the audience.The music was good feast for vijay fans and the Choreography was satisfactory. The film is presented in the same manner without any major modification from the original version . Its a nice commercial movie o watch
