Indeed in those hot Indian summer and Mansoon we used to stock up different powders that promise us comfort from sweating and even miracle fragrance in those hot and humid days.
When it comes to me I normally dont use any powder or talc since I dislike it since my childhood. The reason i started buying talcum and powder is my baby. I used to apply it while diapering and on his neck as in summer he sweats quite often.
Till his 6 months i used to buy baby powder for him but once when i completely run out of the same i could not find any other powder except Ponds Pink Lily fragrant talc in nearby store. Let me tell you my baby was in teething that time so despite all the allopathy and homeopathy meds got terrible diaper rashes. With no other choice i took this talc to use it for baby and surprisingly all rashes were gone within 2 days. Till that time no any baby powder or ketoconazole powder worked that fine.
POND’’’’S has several fragrance options for talc i e Magic, Stardust, Pink Lily, Sandal but most of the time i prefer Pink Lily as it has very mild fragrance.
Product come in pink bottle which has some pink flowers(i guess its that Pink Lily). Container is from 25 to 400gm. I personally rarely take one more than 200 gm as bigger bottle gives too much powder in once and that powder falls everywhere but not at the desired place:)
Fragrance of described product is very mild hence suit to women and girls very well. Else powder is very fine and absorbs very well(tested on my kid as i dont use personally).
One application last for few hours(expect 3 to 6 hrs) in moderately hot/humid days. But i dont suggest it to use for underarms as it cant absorb that much sweat and hide that much smell. Better go for deo roll on.
Overall this talc is good for kids and women as has subtle fragrance, fine powder and good absorbency. Apart from Pink Lily i found Ponds Magic powder fragrance is also good.
