Pop Tate’s is where Archie would hang out with his friends. I also love going to this place with my friend, for a catching up session and grab some tasty, delicious food. Located in Versova, this place is now easily accessible by the Metro too.
Tip- Try to go early and make a reservation, especially on busy weekends, as this place tends to get very crowded. This place has two levels of seating upstairs and down, and also outside. I really love the space outside, though it can get damn smokey, as all smokers sit here. Somehow I like this place much better than Jughead’s. This place is livelier and familiar. I love all their starters, drinks and their main course. Somehow the food is more flavorful compared to Jughead’s.
I love their Nachos with Cheese and Salsa Sauce and always call for it the first thing. Their Baby Corn and Paneer starter too is delicious and is served very hot and fresh. Next comes their drinks and I like to settle for a Fresh Lime Soda(mix) most of the times as it is made to perfection. As I do not have hard drinks, I prefer such drinks. Depends what I crave to have and accordingly call for a pasta in white sauce, red sauce, a vegetarian pizza or a Sizzler.
Their Sizzlers are a must have and you must try them the first time you go here. My personal favorite is their Grilled Paneer Sizzler, that comes with Rice, Boiled Veggies, French Fries, Stuffed Capsicum and succulent pieces of Paneer. Wash it all down with their Mocktails and Cocktails and top it all off with their Caramel Custard.
You are sure to be satiated, and the food will definitely reach deep down to your soul. Pop Tate’s Versova is highly recommended. Bon appetite!
