Located in an office complex on Link road, Pop Tates is hard to miss. The ushers were very helpful in guiding us to the right floor. The place itself is impressive, large and spacious, done nicely in tones of wood. The distance between the tables is good to ensure that one does not get disturbed by people dining on other tables. The tables themselves though are on a smaller side.
We started by having cheese garlic bread. The bread was crisp and loaded with cheese. Though the flavour of garlic was a bit subdued, the abundance of cheese more than made up for it. After all, one can never go wrong with extra cheese.
They had some good offers on drinks during the Happy Hour, and we used the same to our advantage. They also had draught beer by the mug which is a big plus in my books.
This was followed by a paneer sizzler. The sizzler was huge with nice big pieces of paneer and lots of vegetables. The sizzler sauce was exceptionally tasty. Since we were full, we skipped dessert. The service was good.
