I had one of the worst logistics experiences ever with Porter Packers & Movers, and I feel its important to share this here so others can make an informed choice.
I booked a Full Truck Load on 28th April 2025 from Mumbai to Gurugram(Order ID: PNM80722884), with a clear commitment of delivery within 4 5 days.
What actually happened?
- My goods were delivered using two different vehicles, not one. This is a clear Part Load, even though I paid for a Full Truck Load.
- Delivery took 10 days, which is slower than even typical part load timelines.
- The app falsely showed the shipment as Delivered even when it wasnt.
- I had to make endless follow-up calls. Each representative gave a different story no one had full information.
- Their customer support disconnected my calls abruptly, multiple times.
- Despite raising the issue several times, they kept closing my support tickets with messages like:
Dear Customer, We are closing your concern now [ticket ID: HS-Tkt-1645938].
Were glad we were able to help you come to a resolution.
What resolution? It was never resolved.
- The personnel came along with our items didnt even unload the items until I paid them the full amount.
- I even sent photos, videos, and call recordings confirming the use of two vehicles. Their own logistics partner admitted over call that it was a split delivery. But still, no action, no refund, no apology.
This clearly shows a broken system where support is disconnected from operations, and no one is empowered to help. Its sad to see how Porter, once a reliable service, is now failing customers badly.
I urge others to be careful before trusting Porter for long-distance moves. If youre paying for a full truck, make sure they dont quietly downgrade you to part load and pocket the difference.
Unless Porter takes ownership and fixes its broken support and logistics model, more customers will suffer the same fate.
