I recently brought a dinning table worth 22K from Pradep furniture , situated at Nampally Hyderabad. During the initial interaction they very humble and boasted very high on quality and said any fault would be rectified , guaranted the safe delivery of the product and what not.
I paid them the money and awaited the product’s delivery . I received the product and my troubles started.
out of 6 chairs in the set , 2 chairs were brought with breaks visible . The glass top was not the glass top that was shown in the showroom . THey promised me Modi glass but delivered an inferior quality local glass. They wood quality was no way the same quality shown in the show room
I sent the 2 chairs back , at th time of time of delivery. The moment I asked the staff to take back the chairs , their behaviour changed and lot of arguments . I had to make some 5 call o their concerned supervisor to return the chairs and ask for replacement . They were trying to convince me that thy pretty normal . I told how was I supposed to take a damaged furniture. after lot of struggle they took back the 2 chairs and I held back the money.
And no more calls form them on the delivery of chairs and after nearly 1 month , hell lot of calls , they brought the chairs , not new but doctered. I was not at home and they delivered the chairs when my mother was present and those chairs were completely worst and she being old didn’t know how to inspect them . Not only was the product inferior , they charged additional transport changes of another 500 Rs and another 200 Rs for Handling , my mother was not able to argue and she was afraid of the rude behaviour of the 2 delivery boys / goons , for their language and loud voice and gave the money. Even though she told that I was not at home and asked them to come acknowledgement for money after 2 days , they were shouting it seems .
Once I was back, spoke to the shop fellow and but the arguments and rude talk was at peaks. I suggest that anyone of you, please do not buy anything from them.
