I had my Maruti Swift serviced from Pratham some days back. At the outset when I gave the car for service they did not explain the checkmarks on the service sheet, I had to ask for what some of it was for before they vaguely explained.They did not give the car on the promised time and had me wait a good 1.5 hrs before they got it done. When I looked at the car it seemed ok from inside but the exterior was not properly cleaned. I had asked that my tyres be filled with nitro which seemed to be missing from the service description, I didn’t have time to take a testdrive before I left their premises. The steering and the interiors were sticky [presumable some cleaner that they used ].
I got it serviced as I planned to take a short trip in the coming week. When I was driving I noticed that the car was not accelerating even though the engine was revving. I got it checked at a service station in Tamil Nadu and they found that the clutch plate was gone. Wondering how come the Pratham folks couldn’t spot this during their so called service. If all they do is a carwash for 3K then I could do a betterjob myself . I will never be going to these folks again.
