Pratidin is a Bengali daily Newspaper.The name of the editor of this paper is Sri Anjan Bose.
About Pratidin
Pratidin or ’’Sangbad Pratidin’’ is a newer bengali paper among the others.It was first published in the mid 90’s and now it is growing its popularity among the bengali speaking people. The other largeselling newspaper among bengalis’ are Anandabazar Patrika( https://anandabazar.com)aajkaal ( https://aajkaal.net), Bartaman( https://bartamanpatrika.com), ganashakti( https://ganashakti.com)etc.But In the language of DBMS Pratidin has some primary keys(unique characteristics) which is seperating it with other newspapers.
In the earlier days SANGBAD PRATIDIN was like other newspaper.All was the same.Same graphics, same fonts etc. etc.But since the last year pratidin has changed its looks.The first page, every page is attractive. In the past there was no ’international’ section in pratidin paper.
But now a days the Internation section seperates it from the other Bengali newspaper because others has no international section.
Anandabazar Patrika is the largest selling and a commercial Newspaper of west bengal.But the reporting section of Pratidin is now doing better stuff than Anandabazar.

The Various section is very attractive in this newspaper. Everyday there are some interesting news on that page.I always wait for that page.
My non bengali friends will arise their browse to know that no bengali paper has unique Bussiness section like Pratidin.But it is true.And this section is also very attractive for the bussinessminded peoples.
I only neglect one section of this paper-Horrorscope. Actually I don’t beleive in horrorscope(there is a reason behind it.i shall tell you later).
The education section is also a unique section of this paper. For the Secondary and Higher Secondary students of west Bengal the education section is very useful.
Some bad things
There are some bad things about this paper.That is Yellow journalism.In our country yellow journalism is growing incessantly.And Pratidin is among those paper which
itself is guilty.Sometimes the news are very irritating and one eyed.Sometimes they forget the basics of a reporter.
I think in our country there are no newspaper which is not guilty of
this desease.
