I wanted to share my first hand experience of U Lipo tummy tuck treatment done at Prettislim clinic, Bandra. I was very fitness conscious during my college days, but after that once I got busy in my business, fitness took a back seat. My waist started ballooning and also my weight. I reached around 95 kgs of weight & my waist size was around 40 inches.
Since one year, I became too uncomfortable with my body and wanted to do something about it. I again started gym, but i could not go daily, due to my busy work schedule. Then I bought treadmill at home for Rs 45000, but i developed knee pain on treadmill and my doctor advised to stop treadmill immediately. I went to my doctor for advice on weight loss, but he did not gave any specific advice. He only said that diet & exercise and lose weight. I was frustrated as i had to balance my work and my health. I also came to know that my blood pressure has increased in last 6 months. I was desperately looking for some solution. Then i saw an advt in mumbai mirror for U lipo tummy tuck.
I also read that it is a new & advanced Non surgical treatment for fat loss and a client needs to visit clinic only once a week. I liked the idea and called up the helpline number and also visited the clinic. The counselor also told me that U lipo treatment is done by doctors at Prettislim clinic and there are no side effects. I went for the treatment. I have listed the pros and cons of this treatment for the awareness of people who are looking for slimming solution.
Pros
1- As per the commitment of the counselor , i lost 8-10 cm in majority of the my treatments. I enrolled for 10 U lipo tummy tuck and 10 U lipo side tuck. 8-10 cm is the total cm loss after taking measurements from 3 points on tummy and also pinch fold. But there was slight regain in my measurements in between the two treatments. but overall i lost good. My waist size came down from about 40 inches to 34 inches in 4 months time. Also i lost about 11 kgs of weight also. So i can say that the U lipo tummy tuck treatment worked for me.
2- Also i need to go to the clinic only once a week. Treatment lasted for about 60-70 min ( including measurements etc). Treatment was done by doctor Namrata. She was a Physiotherapist doctor. Treatment is comfortable. No side effects. Only there is some sound in the ears, as this a ultrasound cavitation treatment. You usually adjust to it. Also Rf treatment was given to me, which was fine. Overall the treatment is good, without any side effects. If i compare this with Liposuction surgery or bariatric surgery, it is much better as there is no risk of side effects in operation theater etc.
3- Apart from the treatment given to me in the clinic once a week for 60-70 min, i was a assigned a dietitian Kavita. After each treatment, she asked me to follow Diet for 3 days. Diet was not too difficult. I had many options in non veg as well as veg food. but yes for 3 days, no junk food, fast food, roti , rice , sweets or alcohol. After 3 days , also i was asked to watch what i am eating. i was asked to avoid high carbohydrate food items. Which i did. Initially i found it difficult, but later on , i managed by carrying few snacks like dry fruits with me. It came handy. Also she advised me to increase my protein intake and take Multivitamins also. I feel much better and healthier after doing all this changes in my lifestyle and food habits.
4- They have slimming tips on sms and email. So important information is given handy to the clients. Also you get appointment alerts on sms. So you dont forget your appointment timings.
5- Clinic is hygienic and well maintained. Although there is lot of client flow in the clinic. All disposable linen is used in Prettislim clinic for the U lipo treatment. Doctors also wear gloves and masks in the treatment to maintain hygeine. Full marks to Prettislim clinic in hygiene.
6- U lipo treatment come at a price. The treatment is not cheap. but with my exp, i can say, it is worth it. Good quality comes at a price.
7-Staff is well qualified , experienced and know their job. Team has qualified doctors , dietitians etc. So you feel safe.
Cons
1- If you are only looking for a miracle, then U lipo treatment is not for you. Doctors will do the treatment in the clinic, but you should also follow the diet & other instructions at home. If you do not follow, results will not be that good. It is a simple logic of science, that body keeps on creating fat in our body itself, from our food. So on one hand, fat is being lipolysed in the clinic by doctors and on the other hand you will create fat in your body , by eating restricted things. So overall results will be bad. Any slimming treatment requires contribution from a client. Even one of my friend has undergone bariatric surgery two years back. till today he has to follow, diet changes. So my advice to all, that there is no escape from healthy eating, if one wants to remain fit. If you do not want to change anything in your diet and lifestyle, then your dream of fitness shall remain a dream only. Will not turn into a reality.
2- One has to be regular in the treatment. It is ok to miss one or two appointment dates, but if you go there once in month and wants results, then it is not going to work for you.
3- Also , involve yourself in fitness of your body. Any professional of any field in this world can help you to a level. Further you have to help yourself. As it is your body. All the efforts made by you for being more active & eating right , will give better results for you.
4- If you expect surgical results from this treatment, then also you will be disappointed. As it is a non surgical treatment, results are accordingly. I mean to say, that if you are 100 plus kg and waist size of 40 inches and you expect 6 packs after the treatment, then you are expecting surgical results, which is not possible from non surgical treatment.
