I bought The Princess Bride soundtrack solely for the song ’’Storybook Love’’. This is the sung theme song to The Princess Bride, which has perfect lyrics for the movie, and a beautiful melody. Every time I hear it, I cry, because it is so beautiful! The song itself tells its own ’’tale of a boy and girl and their love story’’. As you listen, you really want to know the love that the couple shares in the song (and movie for that matter).
Besides the sung, theme song, the rest of the music is very good too. Of course, it’s all instrumental, but as you listen you can really play the movie through your head and picture scenes that are associated with that piece of music. The songs are very fun and exciting to listen to, especially if you need a Princess Bride fix, and the movie isn’t handy.
