I am a huge fan of jeffrey archer, read almost all his books. He is one of the best english novelists of our times.
Jeffrey archer had immensely drawn from his prison experience and this one is also inspired by his stint in her majestys prison. I am sure there would be more gems in his treasure trove!!
This books is a testimoney to human fight for justice and how fate helps the man who dares.
At a time when we wonder why the protagonist is consigned to prison for the rest of his life, for the crime he never committed, fate takes an unexpected turn and he passes off for his prison mate who is dead, he impersonates for the dead mate, and almost pulls it off when his adversaries take him by surprise and again he becomes doomed. Yet another twist in the tale (another archer masterpiece), wherein the dead man had bequeathed all his wealth to him. It saves the day for him , and yet another peice of excellent legal veneer has his opponents booked for their crimes. ... Wow what a plot!!
No one can put down this book before completely gobbling it up.
On the cons, archer has become very predictable atleast to an avid reader like me
