It is very easy to locate if you travel by local trains(which by the way is my favorite mode of transport despite the crowds, you usually get to your destination on time). As soon as you walk off to the east of Dadar station you will be there.
Stick to the traditional Punjabi fare and you will see why this restaurant is beloved by all. Chicken -Tandoori, Tikka, Butter etc. - choose any and you will be rewarded by the excellent taste and ample amount. I just love the Malai chicken kabab and other kababs. In fact sometimes I just dine on these and forget other entrees/dishes.
Tiger Prawns is another favorite dish. They are succulent and tender - never overcooked. They come with the most tantalising chutneys. It makes my mouth water just to think of them and write about them.
The rotis are just the right consistency and melt in your mouth as they bring them out just as they come off the tandoor.
The wait staff are respectful and very understanding. They are available at hand all through your meal.
The ambience is so-so, but hey you want to eat good food don’t you? The prices are a little steep for comparable level restaurants. The music is slightly obtrusive but the food and service conquers it all.
