But as we get molded each day into what we are, we actually zero down on our favorite places, places where we can be totally ourselves, right thru our skin. Prithvi Theatre is one such place that offers everything a person who loves self-company would look out for. Secure, in Juhu, Mumbai, it is a place where a lot of Creative Theatre in form of plays, dramas, and acting workshops take place. The place is managed by Ms. Sanjana Kapoor, the lovely daughter of Mr. Shashi Kapoor ( an amazing bollywood actor of yester years). The wooden sittings, stone tables with pebbles beneath and greenery all around make it a loner’s paradise. It is worth mentioning that no amount of commercialization in the city has its evil effect on this place, which has maintained its charm over the decades.
Prithvi Theatre is not only famous for its peace, plays and people but also the cuisine offered. From the humble tea cuppa to the exquisite ’Prithvi Special Irish Coffee’ it offers a range of snacks like sandwiches, burgers, samosas, cutlets n likes. The offering of Kababs which they offer as ‘Kabab Sizzler’ at Rs. 150/- although is not a sizzler is worth a try. So is the ‘honey walnut’ cake at Rs. 20/-
I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking out for a unique hangout in the suburbs of Mumbai.
Although I can scribble in more, I feel it is better if some of you check it out and discovery the specialty of this perfect blend of creative theatre & creative café .
