I understand that Priyanka Chopra’s father is a punjabi whereas her mom is from Jharkhand, Somehow, the kind of personality you associate with a hot-blooded punjabi kudi is not there in Priyanka.I may be mistaken but she is more your earthy eastern girl.Nevertheless, she is a competent actress.It has been said that models don’t make good actresses.And this is generally true.But Priyanka has been an exception to this rule.She started off as a model.But with time she has developed into a fine actress.Her parents(her father has passed away recently) are both doctors but she has chosen to be in a glamorous profession.

What makes Priyanka unique is her’indian’ looks.She comes across as the girl-next-door.She is able to give life to the characters she plays as she gets under their skins and thinks like them.This is indeed rare today as most people are out to make money only.
