In the story "The Tiger for Malgudi" by R.K Narayan, the tiger is worried about various animals. The tiger is cautious around Porcupines because they have sharp quills on their bodies. He was worried about monkey because it lived at a height and considered itself to be above the rules and the laws of jungle. The Crow followed tiger’s movement and made noise to make impossible for him to eat in peace. The leopard climbed at a tree to emphasize the fact that he is higher than tiger.

I find it very funny that the constables escaped from the spot and left the prisoner infront of the courthouse. Also the visual image of a dignified person like the headmaster climbing on a table and then trying to hide into the attic was very humorous or funny.
