Any amount above and beyond the sum insured will have to be taken out from your own pocket. This works on the principle of indemnity. It will cover the loss arising out of the damage caused to you.

Yes it is mandatory to confirm the name of the customers father, mother, nominee name. because of customer family information. A nominee who is under the legal age that is 18 years of age is known as a minor nominee. The life insured/policyholder can choose to nominate a person who is under the age of 18.
