Writing this for anyone looking for genuine reviews. Had to shift our goods(from Karnataka to Andhra) and used this’Professional Packers and Movers’ services - below are our experiences.
You will initially get a quotation with a price(in our case it was INR 20000). But on the day of packing, you will be forced to pay extra hidden charnges not specified in the quotation(INR 1000 extra charged on top of INR 20000), despite the quotation clearly marked as final price. They justy them as’standard handling charges’ and’interstate charges’ so on.
The marketing executive who initially visits your place and gives you the quotation, will not pickup the phone afterwards(so, No you will not have chance to get clarification about the hidden charges)
We paid for the’Separate’ vehicle - but finally we got our goods delivered in’Shared’ vehicle. INR 5000 loss for us.
4. The delivery was promised to be in 2 days - but the goods delivered in 5 days. And the reasons they specified were’driver took holiday’, ’we lost our route’, ’do not have workforce’ so on.
Crew behavior: All I can say is - beware of your items. It is better to pack your valulable items yourself. And if you have any heavy items that you cannot lift, you may be even asked by the crew, just like they asked us, "if you cannot lift that item how can we lift it". Looks like they are not understanding what they are getting paid for.
Finally, you would be leveid a 12% service charge - and you would be demanded to pay the complete money before-hand. They do not understand the difference between’buying a product’ vs’buying a service’.
Anyway, will leave it to you. Please be cautious before engaging them for your service. Do your research.
