I recently purchased a shirt and a trouser from Provogue Authorised showroom at R-Mall Mulund West, Mumbai.
After coming home when I inspected the sales receipt, I found that they have charged me 4% above the MRP, and the explanation of this ’charge’ was because the payment mode was via Credit Card.
In short, Provogue charges you extra 4% if you pay using Credit Card!
This is plain ridiculous! In these days of huge shopping malls and overpriced good, who carries cash? I am sure that almost 80% of the purchases in all the malls hapen via credit cards. I have enever seen anyone charging extra for card payments. Some baniyas in grocery shops do that. This is not expected from a brand like provogue.
Another irritating part is that if you want to do any alterations in your purchased clothes (like adjusting the length of trousers, fitting of shirts etc), they take 3 days. IN all other branded outlets I have faced a wait of at the most half a day.
Such horrible rules and service standards are not going to take this brand anywhere.
