Development is confined to only specific areas.
The traffic police is the most corrupt. They treat the outsiders as someone who is staying for free in their city and spoiling it. People are lazy - The government officers, telephone services, shop owners, bank staff, everyone. Just the real estate prices are growing. You will never get the things you need - unlike other metros like Hyderabad or Bangalore. The newly constructed roads for the commonwealth are horrible. Not at all smooth to drive - a poor job.
The basic policies followed in other metros are not followed here. You can see lorries, heavy vehicles, containers, construction vehicles, concrete mixers going on main roads during day time. (I have seen this in Hinjewadi, Wakad etc). Loudspeakers every other day playing loud music for no reason, and some jobless people crowding such places. You cannot see such things happen in other metros. None of the merchants know the basics of customer service here
The biggest pro here is the weather.
