Thankfully, this restaurant is a bit less punjabi in nature. No boisterous waiters and rustic managers! Jokes apart, this is a good place, except that the helpings are a bit miserly. Very unlike a real Punjabi (large hearted loin) the servings are not too hearty. Must say the dishes are mouth watering and delectable. The naans are huge and expensive. But overall the food is not so oily and greasy...the stuff that leads you towards the loo the moment you reach home!
Interestingly, Punjabi by Nature is well located and there’s ample space to walk around or just laze around outside, in case you are waiting for your turn to get in. A clean decor, with tables not too suffocatingly close, it’s a good place to take your family or even your boss, especially if the latter is a die hard Punjabi-food freak. Friends coming in from Mumbai should be taken there, so that they get to know what a real punjabi food tastes like. A quick bite into the food and he or she gets to know the difference of the stuff available back in their amchi Mumbai.
catering to a decent clientele, this restaurant has a good feel to itself. Clean and inspiring would be the way I describe it in toto. If only they could do something about the measly servings!!
