It is around 5 years now have opened a dmat account with a broker and it is just 7/8 weeks am seeing profits in my account.
In the middle of 2005 when I entered the stock market, was new to trade/investing. Slowly started learning everything by watching tvs, finance news papers, online resources etc. I had some idle personal funds around 7/8 lakhs which I had put in some stocks and waited for there rise. My problem was I used to book the profits in little gains. Some of the stocks came down to test my patience as well. Slowly started the day trading in stocks. It was nice since my broker used to give me nice over limit margin. In the mean time I had cut my down position stocks. The journey was started nicely no doubt but the tragedy had come soon after few weeks trade. Mostly I used to select the stocks by my own methods .. like some technical, some fundamental researches and on some online resources.
To be very honest to say, my black days came very fast. Say I made some 3k in a day in the next day loosed 4/5k. More I loosed more I increased the volume to cover the previous days loss.
Since my capital gone down, I decided to enter in Future trades because I had to cover up my loss, and in Future position at less amount we can trade in large quantity.. I have no shame to say this was just the blunder in my life. In a few weeks I just saw my account flying on sky because of loosing of its weight. Finally traded in options (that was the last hope for me..) and found no luck, most of the options expired in 5 paise or 10 paise on the expiry.
In the long time association with the markets, I gained one thing, that I started loving the stock market, so no matter what happened to my trading account I used to watch /read the stocks everyday, there movement, news, etc. It was some thing addiction, cant express properly.
In the mean time I saw lots of websites which offer stock market tips used to ping me in various ways.. like they used to email , sms me( dont know how they got my mobile number) adding in yahoo messenger/ social media websites like facebook/tweeter etc etc etc. Bascically I was a hardline anti of the tips people, because I had a very simple question to them, if you know stock market better, then u will make good, and u dont need a subscriber for you tips subscription. Or in an other way, if you are confirm in an stock about to rise why do u sell that tips and why not you sell your home - buy that stock- book the profit - and just buy 20 homes. Do warren buffet or our rakesh jhunjhunwala sell stock tips? well I had this kinda thoughts.
But exactly what happened to my own account by my own applied great methods, I lust loosed the money. In the middle time once I thought to be an long time investor ( bought idea cellular around 90 rs, after 7 months still not crossing 70 level)
Any way since I was in love of stock markets and a never be defeated mentality I kept searching a good way to make from the market. I pored in some fresh funds to my trading account and joined a stock tips provider, it was just a try , to see how it works since I tried all most all methods. But again no luck , some of his calls worked and most didnot.
Finally I joined Puntercalls ( https://puntercalls.com). I was watching there performance logs for looong time( frankly just 1 + year I kept seeing there trade methods in there trade logs in there download section and did nothing).

My only advise to the stock market friends, is do not experiment with your own fund (which I did earlier), join a good advisor ( they are organized and well informed. ) and leave the headache on them rather than every day searching for a stock and end of the day loss.
