Definitely not worth it.

Hello everyone,

In my over enthusiasm to get the best drinking water for my family I made the mistake of purchasing this product based on the reviews we saw. The damn thing costs Rs.14000+. And unlike what the name suggests there’s nothing marvelous about it! It’s not even a year since we bought the purifier and it has already broken down twice! The CSF container apparently ruptured both times because the water pressure is high for the machine to be able to handle it, at our place. So they have something called as Pressure Valve that they sell separately for another Rs. 500. Talk about a money making racket! Cheap tricks for a supposedly trusted and multi national brand! I contested with them saying that the product is sub standard and I am not to be expected to pay for something that’s wrong with their product. The machine is unable to handle water pressure. Effectively the service men have told me that without getting the pressure valve fitted I will keep facing this issue over and over again. So my point is if not having something is rendering the product ineffective then isn’t it supposed to be an integral part of the product? That should have been taken care of by the company itself. When your product is faulty why am I supposed to bear the brunt of it? It’s not like selling a machine cover or other such accessories to me which have no bearing on the product’s performance. Here the product cannot function the way it is meant to without me having that pressure valve fixed. What they have told me is that water pressure is not the same everywhere and hence the machine can’t come pre fitted with the pressure valve. Fair argument but what about the fact that places where water pressure is high, the product is good for nothing unless the pressure valve is fitted. So you spend Rs.14000 on buying it and spend another Rs. 500 at the time of installation itself if you wish to use the product that is. The product fares like this in less than 9 months after installation. Regular water purifiers I have seen have lasted for more than 5 to 7 years comfortably on an average. Wonder why I got carried away with drinking RO water when I have grown this old without any water related health issues even when I wasn’t having RO water? I wonder how long the product is going to last! I think sticking to good old Aquaguard would have been the wisest thing to do!

I have seen a number of other people posting similar issues they have faced with this product. Wonder how the net rating of the product is so high then! Oh wait a minute, I just remembered that you are a marketing company! Managing the brand is what you do best and that’s how the ratings look the way they do! How can you or should I say why should you ever find time to focus on designing something well when you marketing it well will do the job for you! My bad!

My Advice: Don’t buy this product. Not worth the money! Depending on which star promotes the product next after Farhan Akhtar and Prachi Desai, the maintenance can only be expected to be on an upward spiral, not to mention the amount you will spend on buying it!
