I registered a request for changing CSF or what they call germi-kill kit (because of which my water purifier is not even working as of today) on the 27th of August at 11.45 a.m. It is 31st of August today and I do not have a working water purifier.
I have called PureIt’s toll free number at least 20 times, spoken to multiple so called customer care executives who have listened to me, told me it will get resolved and hung up. I was told to contact the "service provider" directly - is this the consumer’s job? I bought the product from PureIt at a mighty cost of Rupees 13, 000 and I have to co-ordinate my own services?
I have stayed at home for the last four days waiting for the service provider and I have called the service provider number which was given to me at least 30 times.
Right - I don’t have a job so its my job to do this.
Yesterday night at 8.00 p.m. after I called the service provider repeatedly I was told by a bored voice that they are not the service provider for my area.
This is beyond pardonable. PureIt was in such a hurry to sell me the product that I had a technician at my door in two minutes. But when it comes to addressing a service request, the first scary thing is that you are told that this will be resolved in 72 hours. That is PureIt’s SLA for resolving a service request - 3 days? Even after 72 hours anyway there is no resolution.
I have lodged many complaints. Been told that this will be resolved. But no time or timeline for resolution has been given to date. Meanwhile my family has suffered after paying a ridiculous sum of money for a not-so-great purifier - with no drinking water for four days.
The last time I filed a complaint about the low quality pipe which had started leaking within the first few days of purchase, I figured PureIt will never resolve this and I called my own plumber to resolve the problem - who will I call for this issue?
Please give me my money back and take your product. I am also filing a complaint in consumer court.
My request to all mouth shut readers - DO NOT BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THEM. One would think that HUL would be the best and why should we buy Aqua Guard. All my friends have Kent or Aqua Guard and they get excellent servicing, they have no complaints and they got their money’s worth.
