Outdated technology and very high maintenance cost

I wanted a purifier on the same day as my parents were about to visit my place. This is when I fell a victim to this inferior product. Unfortunately Tata Swach was not available with that retailer as he clearly said that though Swach is better but due to low margins he does not sell it and sells Pureit becoz of high margins from the company.

The plastic quality is so inferior that it develops a layer of chemicals in the containers that are so difficult to dismantle and wash. The battery also gets finished so quickly that you end up paying through the roof for replacing and maintaining this money eating purifier.

To top it, even asking online or thru call centre for a replacement you have to pay an additional amount. The misery doesnt end here, you keep following up and waiting and the battery does not get delivered for 10 days.

Recently I got to know that this one uses chlorine for purifying water, and I immediately dumped it the next day. Now I have got myself a new purifier, Tata Swach that does not use any chemical for purification. And the per litre purification is also the least of all.(that is what the leaflet says and I trust it coz of the brand TATA)
