Product is good but very bad service.

I bought the pureit 23 lit last April. The product is good but some days back there was leakage from Germ kill kit. So I call the customer care. My product has a sticker saying there is double warranty on it but it does not cover the germ kill kit. So I had to order it from company. Which I agreed. When I asked the price I was told that it will cost Rs.900/- . Plus Rs.50/- for delivery and installation charges in the Municipality area. I stay just a km away from MAPUSA Municipality office in Goa. I confirmed the order and was expecting the for the delivery the next day. The next day I got a call from the local service station who told me that I will have to pay 250/- extra as I stay out of municipality area. I was surprised as I was not aware that Hindustan liver had powers of changing the location of area too. Someone named Susan was on line. And was really rude. I have SMS from pureit which said that it wall cost me just 950/- in all. And here it was someone demanding for more. She went on to say that if I agree to pay extra she shall send the technician with the part or else she will cancel the order. Which I believe she did.


This does not end there. After this started series of calls and msgs between me and the call centre. Upon insisting to allow me to have a word with the manager/supervisor, I was put on line with someone who was no different. And then started SMSes saying that the product is been delivered. And if unsatisfied smson certain No. Which I did several times.


The last fact is that I still don’t have m germkill kit. And no one is responding positively regarding this . I know I am just a small customer of HLL. And they don’t care. But I will suggest everyone not to buy this product as if there is no service, it is useless. Just like my pureit is useless in my house.
