Puri, a small and holy town located on the east coast beach of Bay of Bengal in the state of Orissa, is located at 60 kilometers from Bhubaneswar, the state capital city. It is principally known for thousand years old Sri Jagannath Temple which attracts millions of devotees from the entire world. However, the sea beach of it is the best in India from my perception.
The hotel industry in this small town is most preferred business for the local people. A national high way extends from Bhubaneswar till the main entrance of Sri Jagannath Temple. The famous Sun Temple at Konark is only 25 kilometers away from Puri. Everyone who visits Puri once will wish to visit again and again. I recommend everyone to visit this holy town at least once to feel the essence of it for sure.
