About half an hour’s drive from Ajmer, Pushkar is one of the safest and most peaceful of destinations in India. You can put up in a hotel from Rs. 500 to Rs. 1500 - 2000 a night and enjoy your stay without being too worried about the safety and the security of your loved ones you are traveling with(to be responsible and attentive doesn’t cost us though).
With tourists coming from almost all parts of the world, the hotels have almost all sorts of delicacies to offer you and that too at reasonable(or we may call it quite cheap) prices. DO NOT FORGET TO GRAB MALPUA from some genuine local sweet shops. Also, if you are into music and like Indian classical along with classic blues or jazz, you should definitely visit this music shop named ROOTS OF PUSHKAR.
