The protagonist’s inexorable swag and full-throated dialogue throwing? Checked! The focus of the film is about the rise of Pushpa-Raj in the illegal redsandalwood business in the forests of Chittor around late 1990’s. The rise of a rough person into a business tycoon from the ground up in the criminal field. The initial explanation of the business concept and people involved started very well but eventually, it went into a drama mode. Samantha’ item song was one of the saving graces of the film. Sometimes the film feels completely disconnected from reality and lacks believability. . I am not a Allu Arjun fan but his performance in this movie has left no choice for me. Along the years Allu Arjun has rightly become synonymous with action genre and his performance as Pushpa-Raj in the movie has won hearts from all over india. Rashmika as usual looked gorgeous and the chemistry between Arjun and her was good. Overall the film is a mixed bag.
