The film revolves around the central character called Pushpa-Raj who is a labourer but later becomes the head of a smuggling business in the redsandalwood forests of southern india. He becomes involved in feud with a ruthless police officer Bhanwar singh who just got transferred to the place. Pushpa offers him bribe but he rejects it and insults him in the police station which leads to rivalry between bhanwar singh and pushpa. Along the way he falls in love with Srivalli. His step brothers disapproves of this relationship and tells him to severe his relations with her. The film is filled with a lot of drama. The film feels a little long and it would have been better if producers were able to keep it around 150 minutes but at the end of the day it is a great entertainer.
