PVR Cinemas are generally better than the rest across India. I have been to a number of PVR Cinemas and they were all excellent.
However, this one in Nagpur is a disaster Starting from the mall itself. The Empress city mall is humongous, and unfortunately not maintained at all. I have been to PVR Empress City Mall couple of times with my friends because they insisted and every time it has been disappointing. You can’t even trust the paid parking.
There is no surveillance, no one to guide you, you can park anywhere you want. It is all unorganized and filthy, There has been so many incidents in PVR that it’s not even safe. The inside of the Cinema Hall stinks of food, sweat and what not because their ventilation system I guess doesn’t work. The sound system is also a disaster, it echoes. Also, once I saw the screen was blur. I don’t have anything good to say about the place.
