Wah kya pyaar hai!!!!

Love is like a coal that must be cooled

Else suffered, it will set the hearts on fire

I think I totally agree with Shakespeare sir once I was through with Pyaar tune kya kiya. What a movie! I think we are close to giving some competition to Hollywood in another few years’ time.

Debutant Rajat Mukherjee dishes out a scrumptious delicacy that was worth the money spent. And I think you guys would agree with me that it seldom happens. Just imagine the guy had the guts to make a film in a mere 12 reels. The audience was left panting for more. That is definitely the hallmark of a good movie.

An attitude prone Urmila burns the screen with her extreme volatality, while his object-of-possession Fardeen effortlessly charms his way into the hearts of many. While poor Sonali, the bone of contention, is subjected to all the trauma and ’chilling out’.

Urmila has given a performance of a life time. She deserves all the awards that she is gonna get. The menace adorning her body language, that helpless submission of a desperado and a loneliness that draws the picture of an isolated island.

Fardeen ’Coke’ Khan is good. He has a bright future if only he keeps a grip over his weaknesses. One hasn’t seen such dashing screen presence in quite some time (Hrithik included). But for a star he needs to tone up his physique.

Sonali Kulkarni has been wasted. She seemed older than Fardeen. Infact, one wished, if only Urmi Baby was a little bit more sane, she would have made a sizzling combo with the caressing Khan.

Director Rajat Mukherjee deserves praise for this effort. He successfully managed to narrate a neatly edited thriller with good technical and aesthetic value. His advertising background stood him in good stead. Sandeep Chawta, it is needless to say, is a vastly improved composer. I wish he shall incorporate more of Indian instruments to create a certain niche in the world pop music scenario.

Asha Bhonsle in Kambakht Ishq and Alisha in Raunde hai are spectacular. isn’t it amazing Asha sounds mint fresh even at 69.

So guys, don’t miss out on Pyaar tune kya kiya if you like thrilling stuff. Otherwise, I think Mujhe kuch kehna hai.
