I’ve flew Qantas first time in 1995 on my way to studying in Australia.. they forgot to load a Veg meal..(Imagine 7 + hrs without food).. the shock came last year, when I flew them again...
I recently flew in from Syd to Sing on Aug 10, 2006 via QF 005. Inspite of checking all the way from my Travel agent and at the counter for my "Indian Veg Meal request", I was astonished to learn once airborne, that the Airline has forgotten to load the same.
How did they expect one to remain hungry for 7+ hours of flight. The worst part is the same thing happened when I first flew Qantas in 1995 on my way to Syd.. At that time, the Captain came and apologised... This time around.. I kept my cool, even though I was at the end of a busy 10 days official travel, but am very keen to sue the airline.. which definitely does not place the customer as an important person.. and hopes to get by...I mean 10 years would be enough for an airline to not repeat such a basic but important mistake...
All the guys said was sorry about some mix up and hope that next time it will a better experience.. My foot..
