After a flight to FRA-DPS and back this February I can understand some of the bad things in the bloggs about Qatar Airways.
My complaints:
economy class in Airbus A330 is NOT spacy.
the check-in placed me and my wife in the middle of a 4-seater!
they remind you to drink enough in their publications but no drinks in sight for hours. you have to order water!
the hub Doha is lousy, transport is done by stinking buses, endless wait(e.g. while the bus is fumigating the passengers from in front of the closed but not close door.) here and there and the passengers just bourne from an aircraft are security checked in a humiliating way. We’ve been checked when we entered the planes by wich we arrived in Doha. NEVER AGAIN!
in Doha a "security" manipulated my wifes passport up to damange. Afterwards the comments were:"It looked glued." and "He is only doing his job." I filed a complaint form on board an never heard about it since 6 weeks.
the price was increased two times after booking for "taxes"
