I started taking oats as a change to the heavy parathas or puris or the dosas. The most easiest thing is taking it with milk and sugar . I am taking it for almost 3-4 years not daily of course but 3-4 times a week as my breakfast. Believe me even while writing the review just thinking of oats milk honey or sugar with almonds and whatever fruits you have , makes me drool with hunger. Its a good breakfast and keeps you feeling full for about 3 hours so that you dont eat any junk in between and thats how it tries to maintain your body weight. It can also be prepared as upma but it takes time as you have to roast it & then prepare it like upma. It can be added as an ingredient in homemade protein bars and also in protein shakes. I always prefer foods that no preservatives or any artificial colouring agents and if you see its ingredient label you will only find oats written. So its a nutritious breakfast and yet another gift by the English people.
