The dark side of Bond comes alive in the newest rendition of the adventures of the man licensed to kill! An interesting turn twist to the movie is that you see a Bond devoid of gadgets; the man has changed from an invisible super-spy to a man who will bleed, a man who has feelings and emotions like anybody else. You see a man out for revenge; and you could say its all in the name of love. Starting with a highly exhilarating chase sequence, the energy goes down the drain every second.
The bond girls; both of them in spite of their performances cut a sorry figure, one as a hapless victim and the other as a woman scorned! The woman who ’likes to think’ she is Bond’s mom gives a powerful performance; Judi Bench has done her job honorably well. All said and done; the movie is enjoyable and all the actors have done a reasonably good job.
