My experience with quickheal was annoying.I used quickheal for 1 year.At the time of renewal they gave me an offer that if I purchase 2 years pack, I will get 1 more year service for free resulting into 3 years pack for Rs.2014.So, I renewed it online.
After using 1 more year, suddenly my key was blocked without any kind of prior notification.I called to their support office.They told me that my payment is due and hence they have stopped my service.I had a long debate with lots of people but they told me to prove that I have done my payment.
It was so frustrating.I had to show them my bank statement, ticket no on which I had talk with renewal team and all stuffs.All these process took one month.Then they offered me to refund half amount i.e 1007.They argument was that you have used 1 year and 1 year is remaining.And I will have to purchase new pack from market.I offered them that this is your mistake and not mine.so you should solve it.why should I buy new pack.They argued that once the key is blocked they cant unblock it.I also offered to give me new key with 2 years remaining support but they refused.So again I had to fight with them for this as this was 3 years pack that is was I was told at renewal time.I decided to go to consumers court.I warned them about all these.I had all the necessary proofs.After a lot of struggle they agreed to refund my original amount i.e 2014 within 7 working days.Even after 10 working days I did not get my refund.Again I had to fight.After 15 days I got my refund.
I dont understand how can they lose customers payment details?
My suggestion to people is that dont trust this company and save all the payment details and proofs.It can be asked any time.Dont trust talk what is done on phone.Have emails as proof.As you can give them ticket no on which you were talking.
I have all the mails and other proofs.I can show If anybody is interested.
