We ordered some Hot Barbeque Chicken salad, a Chicken Baja sub and Chipotle Chicken sub. The bread here is freshly baked in house, and all the subs are served toasted, which is a good thing from my perspective since I had all my subs from Subway toasted in any case. The salad made its way to our table first, and by the gods, it was superb.
The last time I enjoyed a salad as much was at Pizza Express, and that was some months back. I don’t do salads very often since finding quality, fresh salads in Mumbai are a tricky proposition, let alone at a price that won’t leave your wallet feeling lighter.
The combination of olives, sweet BBQ sauce and the crunch of crisp, fresh veggies with chicken left me hungry for more and savouring every bite. Hand on heart, I’d call for just this for lunch if I could. I liked it that much. Kudos for getting it right Quiznos. It’s not rocket science to get this right, but you’d be surprised how many don’t.
