Qutub minar is the second tallest tower in  India.It is also the tallest brickery tower in world. Qutub minar situated in mahruali in Delhi. One of the most popular site for tourists and UNESCO world heritage site .The entry ticket is very cheap. This monument built by qutubbuddin aibek in 1220. This is about 120 metres high. Its diameter at the base is approximately 14.32 metres and from the top it is about 2.32 metres. You can enjoy the mesmerizing beauty of this tower from outside because the entrance is minar is not allowed because otherwise the accident in  which 45 people killed in 1981.There is 379 stairs inside the tower in circular manner. This spectacular monument is made up of red sandstone and white marble. On which many verses of Quran are written. When you saw this minar It looks beautiful and unique.You found a lot of tourists here. Who always takes pictures of this stunning place.


Not only this there are many places to visit in the premises of qutub minar. Like iron pillar which is also miracle of metallurgy of iron because it is standing here for years but there are not only a single symptom of rust on it.


Apart from that there are Alai darwaza, Alai minar, quwwat-ul-islam Mosque, tomb of illutimush and many more. There are marble slabs in front of every place from where you get the information of that particular place.


So we need a whole day to visit this place.
