My Bad Experience With RKS Nagaram Branch

I purchased a Maruti Ritz VXI vehicle from RKS Motors nagaram, Hyderabad branch recently. It has been a wonderful bad experience and I really feel bad about choosing this particular showroom. One day, I got a call from the showroom whether we have any plans to purchase a new vehicle as we used to be(and still are) regular customers for their service center. The initial interaction with the sales person was good, but once we went to the showroom, the interaction with their team leader was pathetic. He was so arrogant and egoistic, and it looked like he was not expecting us to be potential customers, but he thought of us just like window shoppers.


After that experience, I went to different showroom and even though they were offering me little higher price, I was about to say Okay to their deal. But the sales person from RKS was keep on calling me and requesting me to visit their showroom again for further discussions. I told him, I won’t come to RKS showroom if I have to talk to his team leader again. He promised me that I will be directly dealing with his manager directly instead of this team leader.


I went to the showroom again and discussed with the manager. Somehow, the deal looked good. The price offered to me was around Rs.5, 000 lesser than the other showroom which is near by RKS.(Later that other showroom guy became ready to give me Rs.10, 000 discount but that is another story).


Due to pressure from my parents and wife, I had to choose RKS as their price is little lesser than the other showroom. But once I handed over the money to the manager of RKS, the actual problems started. At the time of delivery, they did not give us the requirements documents. 3 lakhs was the bank loan and remaining was cast payment.


Without giving us all the documents, they said that they gave all the documents and asked us to get the loan processed. The bank’s branch was far from my house and we had to go all the way to the bank to know that the showroom guys did not give us all the required documents. I had to go to RKS again to ask them for the documents and they said simply "Oh yeah. we forgot". It really raised my BP to very high at that moment. They took another three days to give me the required documents.


Later, they got everything ready for the registration almost after one and half months of the purchase and by that time, the T/R validity was already over. Earlier they promised that they will pay the registration charges, but the registration agent took Rs.300 as his commission. I am not complaining about the money or the extra amounts that I had to pay, but complaining about the ethics of the employees at the showroom.


BTW, I gave poor rating to their service when I got a call from RKS customer service on phone. Just few days later, the sales person came to my home to take my signature on the feedback form so that he can give his own rating to his service. This should tell what kind of ethics they are following.
