After reading all the review on Ra.One, I thought it’s not a good movie. Everywhere people gave mixed reactions. Some liked it, some said it’s the worst movie. However, I went for the movie without any assumptions.
After cancelling the plan 2-3 times, finally I made it for the movie with my family. Had read that’s it good to watch in 3D so we opted for a 3D show. The hall was almost house-full.
The movie starts with a lady explaining about their company’s technology & that the thing which leads to all the destruction. It is always said the technology has improved our lives, but at the same time, the same technology if misused, leads to destruction. The story of Ra.One says it.
The Dream sequence in the start is funny. Sanjay Dutt & SRK has some funny punch-lines & PC looks sexy.
SRK(Shekhar Subhramaniam) is a game developer & develops a new game dedicated to his son(Prateek), who thinks Villians are better than Heros.However Shekhar tries to make him understand that it’s the Hero who is better person & always wins in the End.
Finally Shekhar & team develops the game in which the Villian is 10 times stronger than the hero & very difficult to defeat. They release it soon. But somehow, because of the waves technology explained in the start of the movie, the character(Ra.One) behaves in a weird way & gets out of the game. The Audience have found it hard to digest but it’s shown is a good way & with the technology shown in the start of the movie, it’s possible.
Now Ra.One gets behind Prateek’s life as he was the first one to play the game. Ra.One kills Shekhar in the meanwhile & starts hunting for Prateek. Prateek discovers Ra.One’s entry into the real world this & tells this to one of the developer of the game. They later try to get G.One(SRK) out of the game who can save Prateek from Ra.one.
Kareen(Sonia), plays Shekar’s wife in the movie. She looks beautiful & as always had performed very well. Though not a very significant role, she has acted very well.
The Kid has done a good role. Arjun Rampal with his chiseled body makes a perfect villian.
The movie has got extreme graphics & sound FX which keep u entertained. Some scenes are too good. Gives a Hollywood feel to the movie. All songs are nice. My favs - Chammak Challo & the slow Sad song.
The Climax was however not up to the mark & ends little early than expected. But it gives a good moral message of good winning over evil.
I liked the movie though people have given all possible negative remarks to it. Would really like to see Ra.2 - a sequel for this.
