Ra-one Review
Ra-one - Movie of super promos (not super hero)
There come many times when we expect a fabulous and outstanding movie from Our Super-star. Not only because of High budget spent on them or great promos behind them, but Presence of these Super-stars is enough to create craziness among fans. No doubt that Those super stars are best among the rest and they have always given more then their best. Still, sometime because of weak story line, sometime because of falling climax and sometime other factor comes as disaster for the movie.
Same happens here!!!!
Ra-one, executed in high amount of budget, high promos and despite presence of SRK, it fails to stand up with the expectation that Audience might be carrying to theater.
Ra-one Story
SRK as Shekhar works with videogame company whose last two videogame release was flopped. Prateek enough worried with gentle behavious of his father Shekhar is also a great fan of Khalnayaks on the movie and games. So he wants his father to make such video game where Villain is immortal. Shekhar and his mates makes video game Ra-one. But on the very first day of release of video game, there comes a problem in video game system because of Prateek who had left the game in mid-way. Then Ra-one comes out of videogame in order to hunt and kill him. So, the story of G-one is all about superhero who comes to rescue prateek and his family.
Movie at a glance
Movie Ra-one comes with a unique story but its hard to believe it is a movie of super hero.
The very first scene of movie brings Story on one of the highest interest level but It is sad to find they have fail to maintain the same level through out the Movie. Few Comedy moments in first hour makes Ra-one watchable movie. There comes few other scene such as arrival of G-one, Rajnikant special appearance and G-one trying to stop and save Sonia on train scene and final climax which are best scene to watch out. But between all these scene movie is just like other normal movie. Simple conversation and no such twist on the story, especially in the second half makes this movie as one of the worst super-hero movie.
Love and romance were never the primary part of movie while despite movie being of 150 mins, it fails to include the strong story. Climax of the movie is easier where Ra-one, supposed to be more powerful is easily conquerable.
Music of the movie is above average with all of its song.
SRK, as usual performs best on his role and we can see all his experience coming to work on this movie too. He is successful in getting cheers of viewers in most of the time while ’prateek’ SRK’s son in movie is a child artist has played powerful role more than noticeable. Kareena, with her performance through out the movie has done a great job. despite all of these, Movie has failed in fulfilling the expectation
Arjun Rampal as Ra-one in second half has done well with dialogs and fight but his apperance in the movie looks too short. Ra-one is powerful but again he is too harmless to the normal people. Few other interesting scene and few twist could have made movie a far better than what it is...
Conclusion---
So, as a glance, it looks like Ra-one was concentrated more in promos rather than its story line and creativity. Still, with the presence of SRK and because of diwali time, Movie may be successful on box office too.....
Movie is not a bad movie, it is definitely watchable once. But because of presence of super-hero, the expectation of movie being top class is fulfilled no where. So, undoubtedly, this might be one of the worst movie where super-hero is being introduced.
