This site claims to be India’s leading travel comm unity but if you dig into the site, there is very little of value. All of the destination information is not by the Raahi. com community but from Outlook Traveller. Most of the focus is on Hotel Reviews (Is that where they make money?) and the site is therefore close to HolidayIQ so what is the differentiation? and finally, what happened to all the "Experts" they had on their panel for various destinations? So much potential here but such weak execution. It unfortunately seems foreign travelogues (Trip advisor, etc.) provide more value on India than our own Indian sites.
However, and again unfortunately, it’s a foreigner’s perspective. I don’t believe it’s that Indian’s don’t like to contribute and voice their experiences...one only has to look at the popularity of Moutshut . com to see that this is not the case.
