I do not condone or condemn past life regression, however certain elements of this show do appear to me as fake. I think this show is another money making stunt. Below are some reasons out of my kitty:
My understanding of reincarnation is - animals can re-incarnate as humans or vice-versa. In this show all participants in their pichle janam were humans. All participants have died in an accident – maybe because an accident will create more impact on audience than natural death, hence increase trp’s.
Dr Tripti asks leading questions like, “is their a bank there”? Even worse she tries to manipulate the situation i.e. “I want you to walk to the bank” or “pick up a newspaper and read the date”. Isn’t past life regression about recalling what has already happened? Amazingly in one session Dr Tripti finds the answer to the cause of the phobia in the participants or answers to their questions.
When one undergoes past life regression they attend many sessions to find definite answers to their questions. And secondly does the cause of phobia necessarily have to be how the participant had died in their immediate previous life? Phobia may be due to an event in their childhood or and event in any lives not necessarily their immediate previous life.
People have gone through past life regression and certain events in their previous life has been proven. May be NDTV Imagine should visit some of the places that participants lived in their previous life with their camera crew. For example one of the participants died in the 1960’s, I am pretty sure some of this family or relatives of his previous life are still alive, maybe they should have visit them and ask about him.
