Bollywood movies , most of the movies are flopping disastrously at the box office. Why we might wonder at times? Simple reason being if the plot/story is not good, no matter whether the shooting takes places in london/Swiss. It will surely flop. Most ludrcious, these producers think that by showing us glimpses of London etc, people will be impressed. People are not fools be it from the poor illiterate to the educated rich individual. As human being we have good sense of what is rational and what is a good story.
Coming to Raaz, this movie is a poor remake of what lies beneath and I felt after watching RAAZ(for which I had to suffer for 3 hours !!), that original was much better. Of course directors think that they can steal an original plot and add a few twists here and there so that it does not look like a COPY. Simple fact people are not stupid.Raaz is such a lousy movie, instaed of getting scared people were actually laughing in the theatre.....Dino has acted so wooden. Bips is impressive thu thre quarters of the time she is scared in the movie, which was pathetic.
Most irriating was the rasping poetic lyrics of Malini sharma(the woman who plays the ghost).
Yet when I heard Raaz was a hit, I was zapped.....I think its just hyped up .
Simple fact is Raaz is a poor dub of What lies beneath.
