Raazi is the true story of a muslim girl from kashmir, sehmat( alia bhatt) passed from Delhi University who follows her father’s footsteps to become a spy in Pakistan sacrificing her life full of promises. She undergoes vigrous training in Indian Intelligence department before marrying to a pakistani officer Iqbal Syed. The word mulk meaning nation is tossed up quite often in the movies and believe me you won’t will be able to decide from which side of the border it is coming. Gulzar and her co writer Bhavani Iyer beautifully written the plot without loosing its cultural context. For a film packed with many plot twists, the gentle calmness in the air mostly filmed inside a palatial house, surprises you. Coming to the acting point, Alia Bhatt has given a fabulous performance though not expected from her. All others actors have also supported her. I would say it’s a value for money.
