Rab ne bana dhiya aur yek raj to love

DDLJ to RNBDJ aditya chopras journey with sharukh and the magic love formula in movies continues but will RNBDJ spin the magic wand to keep its audiences spell bound ? .. This movie has King khan playing the lead with debutant in anushka sharma .. The tall gorgeous looking anushka comes out with a pretty decent performance as tanni .. The cinematography is by Ravi .k.chandran ..

Sharukh as surinder saini who is pretty ordinary looking , boring of sorts , with loads of inhibitions plays a employee of punjab power with ease .. He accidentally gets to marry tanni daughter of his teacher under very tragic circumstances and brings her to Amritsar.. Both of them live separate in the same house though sharukh is deeply in love with his new wife she affirms that she would never ever would be able to love him .. Surender with his friend bobby who runs a hair shapping saloon eventually plan a plot to impress tanni disguises himself as raj and joins tanni a dancing jodi competition in town..

Raj as the more vibrant sharukh bit overdone I thought with his style and body language which is in total contrast to surender takes on tanni as her dancing partner at the competition. Sharukh as raj at the dancing school drives bikes wears a lot of western outfits looks and talks casually and thence anni is ignorant that Raj is infact surender at home .. well raj owes to make her fall in love and what shapes up is a comedy of events and then the romance which ultimately helps tanni explore her love ..

The biggest let down for the movie I personally thought was the music not much of melody numbers that you could have liked to keep us humming the song again and again.. though I thought the bollywood fantasy song with sharukh kajol , rani bipasha etc.. was good ..

Comedy is pleasent though , especially the burping sequence after raj having won the eating competition with tanni is forced to eat briyani at home as surendhar .. So is the Dhoom 3 sequence of anushka racing the bike is entertaining .. Sharukh plays a masterly stroke as surendhar but I personally felt in the process he has tried to shade overdo as raj to compensate for the under performance as surendhar ..

Anushkas search for love is a bit confusing at times and one could never really feel a good impact or solid reasoning when she decides to run away from the movie hall in search of Raj .. however the director makes up for it with later sequences and all ends well ..

Overall the movie is a good entertainer and sharukhs madness to fall in love as Raj continues once again but then the monotony seems to have reached a saturation of sorts .. This movie as raj will perhaps never give a run for the money to DDLJ or dil to pagal hai but is certain to kill your boredom as sharukh still proves why he is the undisputed king of the business
