It was like watching 2 Shahrukh Khan movies- One as Suri and One as Raj. SRK the star was absent and what we got to see was SRK, the actor. As Suri who loves his wife Taani, he acted so ordinary, that one felt sorry for him and angry that Taani cant see the love in his actions. As Raj, he was the usual flamboyant King Khan. The surprise pack of the movie was Anushka Sharma, who matched SRK all the way. She seemed uninhibited and the scene when she taught him to dance was fun to watch. Similarly, the paani puri eating competition was different from any other movie.
The fact that she could even think of leaving her husband and going away with Raj, was not convincing. Even more non convincing was the way she does an about turn the next day. The climax dance though washed away the disappointment of the earlier scenes and was superb. The best part was the titles in the end which is not to be missed. Vinay Pathak as his loyal friend was his usual best and over all the movie was superb. Adityas brilliance shines all through the movie. I would definitely love to watch it again. I have to confess that I am a diehard Shahrukh fan and watched all movies of SRK and watched this movie on the second day.
